How to Create a Client Credit Note

  1. In the left navigation panel, go to Sales > Credit Notes

  2. This takes you to the Credit Notes page

  3. Click the Create button at the top right of your screen

  4. This takes you to the Create Credit Note page where you can enter the following:
    1. The Customer
    2. The Credit Note Number
    3. A Reference Number, if you are referencing another document, such as an overpaid invoice
    4. The Date
    5. You can enable the Auto-apply to future invoices based on Recurring Invoices toggle if you want these credits to apply in future invoices
    6. Add the Description, Quantity, and Rate of the Product you are creating a credit note for

  5. Click Create to finish creating your credit notes
