Commission Calculation Modifiers

Follow

Commission calculation modifiers help to establish the starting point for agents. They can help you add data on agent caps from existing deals when you move to Zipi or if you want your agents to start of with a higher split due to good performance.

In this article we will cover:

  3. You have:
    • Deal Type
    • Deal Property Class
    • Apply Date
    • Deal Count
    • Sales Price Total
    • Company Split Total
    • Sales Entity Split Total
  4. You can enter one or multiple virtual values depending on what you want to achieve

  5. In this example, the modifier will let Zipi know that the agent has already closed 10 deals on April 13, 2021. The next deal that the agent makes, after that specified date in the modifier, will bring the count up to 11. It works the same way for the other virtual values.
Note: When adding values to the company or sales entity split, add the exact amount. If you don't, the agent may cap earlier or later in the next cap.
  6.  If you have deals with multiple types, property classes, or apply dates, you can add multiple commission calculation modifiers.
  7. Once you have added the commission calculation modifiers, click Update to save them
